Description

The main components of ductile iron pipe are carbon, silicon, manganese, sulfur, phosphorus and magnesium. A certain amount of spheroidal graphite is distributed on the ferrite and pearlite matrix. The proportion of ferrite and pearlite in the matrix structure is different.

Characteristic
Connection mode: flange, socket and spigot. Pressure withstand standard: PN10, PN16, PN25. Mechanical properties: minimum tensile strength: 420 / MPa, minimum yield strength: 300 / MPa, minimum elongation: 7%. Anti corrosion treatment: asphalt coating is used to transport gas pipeline. Preheating the pipe before painting can improve the adhesion of asphalt paint and accelerate drying.
Installation: the installation interface of ductile iron pipe fittings has socket, spigot, flange interface, and the socket must be installed in place. The sealing gasket must be densified for the installation of flange interface, and the bolt shall be installed at the position.
